In short

Governance that speeds good decisions up.

Weak governance fails in one of two ways. Decisions queue in committees while the project waits, or decisions are taken without proper oversight and return months later as cost. Both are expensive. Both can be designed out.

Schedola builds governance that balances control with pace: clear decision rights, thresholds matched to risk, stage gates with meaningful criteria, steering forums that end with decisions and reporting that gives oversight bodies what their duties require, and nothing that slows the work for its own sake.

Questions, answered

What leaders ask us first.

Straight answers from the people who do the work. If your question is not here, ask us directly. A senior practitioner will reply.

How do stage gates help?

A well-designed gate confirms the project is truly ready before the next commitment is made. That prevents the most expensive mistake in capital delivery: starting a phase that is not ready to start.

Can governance be too heavy?

Yes. Over-governance slows projects and blurs accountability. We size governance to the risk and value at stake, and remove layers that do not add a decision.

Do you work with public-sector governance?

Yes. We design frameworks that meet public accountability and audit requirements while keeping delivery efficient.

How do we know if our governance is working?

Look at decision turnaround, the number of issues escalated twice and whether gate reviews ever say no. We measure those and report what we find.
