4D Planning
Model-linked construction sequencing that exposes logistics and phasing risk, aligns stakeholders and makes the schedule understandable to everyone in the room.

Watch the project go up before anyone mobilises.
A Gantt chart is precise, but few people can read one and picture the site. 4D planning links schedule activities to model elements so the sequence plays out over time. Crane conflicts, congested work zones, blocked access routes and awkward phasing become obvious in a way no bar chart can show.
We build 4D models with a purpose. Before construction they test and refine the sequence. With operators and the public they explain phasing around live facilities, such as an occupied hospital wing or an operating terminal. For complex lifts and installations they rehearse the work. During delivery they overlay actual progress on the planned sequence, so slippage is visible at a glance.
The output is not an animation for its own sake. It is a better schedule, agreed by more people, with fewer surprises waiting on site.
What we bring to 4D Planning
Senior practitioners, a proven method and the right technology. Every line below is part of the engagement, not an upsell.
Model-schedule linking
Activities connected to model elements at the right level of detail.
INCLUDEDSequence simulation
Construction sequences reviewed step by step with the team.
INCLUDEDLogistics planning
Cranes, laydown, access routes and temporary works visualised.
INCLUDEDPhasing communication
Clear visuals for operators, users, neighbours and approving authorities.
INCLUDEDTime-space conflicts
Trade overlaps and congestion identified before they happen.
INCLUDEDProgress overlay
Actual progress compared with the planned sequence in 4D.
INCLUDEDA clear path, milestone by milestone.
A disciplined sequence, so you always know what happens next, who owns it and why it matters.

Technology we work in
Platform-fluent and vendor-independent. We work inside your environment, or help you choose the one that fits. We take no reseller commissions.
What changes when we arrive.
Not more reports. Earlier warnings, firmer dates and decisions your board, lenders and teams can trust.
Sequence and logistics problems solved before mobilisation.
Everyone from the board to the foreman sees the same plan.
Lifts, access and laydown planned visually and precisely.
What leaders ask us first.
Straight answers from the people who do the work. If your question is not here, ask us directly. A senior practitioner will reply.
How detailed does the model need to be?
It depends on the decision. A phasing study for an operating facility needs much less detail than a rehearsal of a heavy lift or a congested plant room. We match model detail to the question, which keeps cost proportionate.
Can 4D help win work?
Yes. A clear 4D sequence in a bid or interview shows an owner that the team has already thought through the hard parts of the build.
Which software do you use?
Most often Navisworks and Synchro 4D, linked to Primavera P6, chosen to suit the project’s existing platforms.
Does 4D change the schedule itself?
Often. Watching the sequence exposes logic gaps and conflicts, and we feed the corrections back into the native schedule so the two stay aligned.
5D Planning
Model-based cost planning that links quantities, rates and schedule activities for faster estimates, time-phased cash flow and clear option costing.
Drone Progress Monitoring
Scheduled drone flights that capture objective, comparable site data and feed measured progress straight into the schedule and earned value.
Reality Capture & Laser Scanning
Laser scanning, photogrammetry, 360° imaging and aerial capture that document existing conditions, verify installed work and build a defensible visual record.
