CPM Scheduling
Critical Path Method schedules with complete logic, grounded durations and a critical path you can manage by, report on and defend.

Know which work decides your completion date, before it decides for you.
The Critical Path Method is the most useful planning tool a project has, and one of the easiest to misuse. Open-ended activities, dates forced in with constraints and durations padded for comfort produce schedules that look finished and predict nothing. The problem only shows when the date is already gone.
We build CPM networks from the work outward. Each activity exists because the scope requires it, each relationship reflects how the trades actually hand off, and the critical path falls out of the logic rather than being drawn in afterwards. You get a model that forecasts, not one that simply records what has already happened.
What we bring to CPM Scheduling
Senior practitioners, a proven method and the right technology. Every line below is part of the engagement, not an upsell.
Network logic
Complete predecessor and successor logic using the right relationship types, with every lag justified and written down.
INCLUDEDWBS & activity coding
Work breakdown, codes and calendars designed for both site execution and executive reporting, so one file serves both audiences.
INCLUDEDDuration development
Durations calculated from quantities, crew sizes and productivity rates for the trade, the region and the season.
INCLUDEDCalendars & constraints
Working calendars, weather allowances and constraints applied on purpose and recorded, never used to hide a problem.
INCLUDEDFloat visibility
Total and free float tracked and reported, so contingency is visible and someone is accountable for it.
INCLUDEDSpecification compliance
Schedules written to your contract’s scheduling specification from the outset, so submittals are accepted and payment is not held up.
INCLUDEDA clear path, milestone by milestone.
A disciplined sequence, so you always know what happens next, who owns it and why it matters.

Technology we work in
Platform-fluent and vendor-independent. We work inside your environment, or help you choose the one that fits. We take no reseller commissions.
What changes when we arrive.
Not more reports. Earlier warnings, firmer dates and decisions your board, lenders and teams can trust.
A critical path your owner, lender or contractor reviews without a fight.
Slippage visible months earlier, while options still exist.
Submittals that meet the specification, protecting your payment cycle.
What leaders ask us first.
Straight answers from the people who do the work. If your question is not here, ask us directly. A senior practitioner will reply.
How detailed should a CPM schedule be?
Detailed enough to manage the work and measure progress honestly, and no more. As a working rule we keep most construction activities shorter than one or two update periods, then adjust for the phase of the project and what your contract requires. Too little detail hides risk; too much buries it.
Can you work in the platform we already use?
Yes. We build natively in Primavera P6, Oracle Primavera Cloud and Microsoft Project, and convert between them when a contract or partner requires it, checking that logic and calendars survive the conversion.
Do you schedule for owners or for contractors?
Both. We work for owners, program managers, general contractors and specialty trades. On any single project we act for one party only, so our advice is never divided.
We already have a schedule. Do we need to start over?
Rarely. We usually begin with a health check, keep what is sound, repair what is not and document every change, so you keep continuity with the record you already have.
Baseline Schedule Development
Approved baseline schedules that capture scope, sequence and commitments precisely, and give both parties a reference point they have actually agreed.
Integrated Master Scheduling (IMS)
Integrated Master Schedules that connect design, procurement, construction and commissioning into a single program view, traceable from the boardroom summary down to the field.
Bid & Tender Schedules
Compliant, convincing bid schedules that demonstrate command of the work, produced fast enough to meet the tender deadline.
