Schedule Updates
Disciplined periodic updates that record real progress, reveal real trends and keep the schedule a working tool rather than a filed document.

A schedule is only as useful as its latest update.
Many schedules stop being useful soon after approval. Progress is entered loosely, logic is not maintained, out-of-sequence work piles up, and within a few months the forecast has drifted far from the site. Decisions are still being made on it.
Our update service keeps the schedule current and credible. Each period we verify progress against the field, record actual dates accurately, correct logic where the work has diverged from the plan and report what changed, why, and what it means for the dates that matter. Over time, those updates also become the most valuable record the project owns.

Technology we work in
Platform-fluent and vendor-independent. We work inside your environment, or help you choose the one that fits. We take no reseller commissions.
What changes when we arrive.
Not more reports. Earlier warnings, firmer dates and decisions your board, lenders and teams can trust.
A forecast based on today’s position, not last spring’s plan.
Float erosion and slipping paths spotted while recovery is still inexpensive.
Contemporaneous updates that hold up if a dispute arises.
What leaders ask us first.
Straight answers from the people who do the work. If your question is not here, ask us directly. A senior practitioner will reply.
How often should a schedule be updated?
Monthly at a minimum on most projects. Weekly updates are worth the effort during fast-track phases, shutdowns, commissioning and any recovery period.
Can you update or review a contractor’s schedule for an owner?
Yes. We review and validate contractor updates for owners, or prepare updates on behalf of contractors. On any one project we act for one party only.
Our schedule is already months out of date. Where do we start?
With a re-status and repair. We bring the schedule back to reality first, documenting every correction, then return it to a steady update cycle. The documented repair matters, because it protects the integrity of the record.
What do you need from our team each period?
Usually a short progress session with the superintendents, access to daily reports and quantities, and someone who can confirm actual dates. We design the process to take as little of your field team’s time as possible.
Critical Path Analysis
Analysis of critical and near-critical paths that shows exactly where management attention and money will move the date.
Schedule Health Assessment
Diagnostics against the DCMA 14-Point Assessment, GAO guidance and field experience that show how far your schedule can really be trusted.
Schedule Audits
Formal, independent audits of schedules and scheduling practice for owners, lenders, insurers and boards who need assurance they can rely on.
