In short

When every hour offline is lost output, every hour is planned.

A shutdown is a race against a clock measured in lost production. Thousands of tasks, hundreds of workers and dozens of contractors converge on one asset for days or weeks, and a single missed sequence can extend the outage and multiply its cost.

We plan shutdowns at the detail they demand: hour by hour, shift by shift, with isolations, permits, scaffolding, cranes and inspection holds woven into one integrated plan. During execution we update the schedule continuously, so supervisors always know what is next, what is at risk and what the restart time really looks like.

The work list challenged and frozen to protect the outage window.

INCLUDED
C-02

Hourly scheduling

Shift-level schedules with crews, equipment and permits.

INCLUDED
C-03

Isolation sequencing

Lock-out, tag-out, isolation and de-isolation logic built into the plan.

INCLUDED
C-04

Window compression

Parallel paths, prefabrication and added crews used to shorten the outage.

INCLUDED
C-05

Execution control

Shift-by-shift updates and recovery planning throughout the outage.

INCLUDED
C-06

Post-outage review

Performance analysis that makes the next shutdown shorter.

INCLUDED
How it works

A clear path, milestone by milestone.

A disciplined sequence, so you always know what happens next, who owns it and why it matters.

Questions, answered

What leaders ask us first.

Straight answers from the people who do the work. If your question is not here, ask us directly. A senior practitioner will reply.

How early should shutdown planning start?

For major shutdowns, months ahead. Scope freeze, long-lead materials and contractor mobilization all need time, and most overruns are decided by what was or was not prepared.

Do you support round-the-clock execution?

Yes. Our planners work the shift pattern during execution, updating and recovering the schedule continuously.

Which facilities do you support?

Process plants, power generation, pharmaceutical and food production, manufacturing, water treatment and mission-critical facilities: anywhere an outage window has to be planned to the hour.

How do you handle emergent work found during the outage?

Through a controlled process that assesses each new item’s effect on the critical path before it is accepted, so discoveries are managed rather than allowed to quietly extend the window.
