Why it mattered

Water infrastructure goes unnoticed until it fails. These programs protect public health for decades, often under regulatory deadlines, and have to be built while every tap and every treatment process keeps working.

The challenge

A water supply corporation needed new groundwater capacity for member cities whose populations were climbing every year.

Easement acquisition, two river crossings and a new treatment facility each carried their own risk, and all three met at a single in-service date.

Schedule at a glance

The whole job, on one line.

How we kept it on course

Our approach, phase by phase.

The same disciplined sequence we bring to every engagement, shaped around what this project needed most.

PHASE 01PHASE 02PHASE 03PHASE 04
PHASE 01Structure the program

Projects, funding sources, permits and outage windows brought together in one master schedule.

PHASE 02Match money to work

Cash-flow forecasts aligned with grant and loan draws and board approval dates.

PHASE 03Plan the tie-ins

Bypasses and service outages placed in low-demand periods, each with a tested contingency.

PHASE 04Keep the record

Contemporaneous schedule records maintained to stand up to any audit, regulator or claim.

What changed

The difference we made

Measured the only way that matters: did the project land where we said it would.

Result 01Water delivered on the committed date

Member cities received supply on the date written into their contracts.

Result 02Easements managed parcel by parcel

Right-of-way acquisition was scheduled and tracked weekly, one parcel at a time.

Result 03A record that stands up

Contemporaneous schedule documentation was kept to a standard that would withstand any claim review.
