Why it mattered

Food and beverage plants live by market windows: peak season, retail launches, distribution contracts. Miss the window and the new capacity waits a year to earn its keep.

The challenge

A food manufacturer modernized one of its largest frozen dessert plants, adding three production lines and an automated cold store.

Any shutdown in peak season meant product missing from stores. Cutovers had to fall in the few low-demand weeks the sales team could spare.

How we kept it on course

Our approach, phase by phase.

The same disciplined sequence we bring to every engagement, shaped around what this project needed most.

PHASE 01PHASE 02PHASE 03PHASE 04
PHASE 01Protect production

Shutdowns placed in low-demand periods and planned to the hour with the plant team.

PHASE 02Put equipment on the path

Process equipment tracked from factory slot to setting on its foundation.

PHASE 03Join the vendors up

Line vendors, automation integrators and building trades held on one critical path.

PHASE 04Plan trials as real work

Line trials, food-safety validation and ramp-up scheduled with the same care as construction.

What changed

The difference we made

Measured the only way that matters: did the project land where we said it would.

Result 01Summer output untouched

No production was lost during the peak selling season across the full program.

Result 02Outages on the clock

Every planned shutdown finished inside its window.

Result 03Validation scheduled

Line trials and food-safety sign-offs were built into the logic, not left to the end.
