Why it mattered

Food and beverage plants live by market windows: peak season, retail launches, distribution contracts. Miss the window and the new capacity waits a year to earn its keep.

The challenge

A food technology company is building one of the first commercial-scale plants to produce dairy proteins by fermentation, without animals.

Process engineering is still maturing as construction proceeds, so the schedule has to grow in detail without ever losing sight of its critical path.

Schedule at a glance

The whole job, on one line.

Start to finish, as the schedule tells it. For work still in progress, the bar moves with today's date.

How we kept it on course

Our approach, phase by phase.

The same disciplined sequence we bring to every engagement, shaped around what this project needed most.

PHASE 01PHASE 02PHASE 03PHASE 04
PHASE 01Protect production

Shutdowns placed in low-demand periods and planned to the hour with the plant team.

PHASE 02Put equipment on the path

Process equipment tracked from factory slot to setting on its foundation.

PHASE 03Join the vendors up

Line vendors, automation integrators and building trades held on one critical path.

PHASE 04Plan trials as real work

Line trials, food-safety validation and ramp-up scheduled with the same care as construction.

What changed

The difference we made

Measured the only way that matters: did the project land where we said it would.

Result 01Rolling-wave detail

Each design release adds detail to the schedule while the critical path stays intact.

Result 02Forecasts investors can test

Monthly forecasts give the board and investors a defensible view of the finish.

Result 03Startup in the baseline

Commissioning and qualification logic has been in the schedule since the first baseline.
